Introduction
InnerUs respects the privacy of all users. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Apple App Store guidelines. By using the InnerUs app (designed for couples seeking deeper connection), you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Data We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the app and provide our services:

2. Storage & Processing
- Cloud service: All data is stored in Firebase (Google) on servers located in the European Union.
- Security: Data is transmitted over TLS, stored behind industry-standard firewalls, and access is restricted to authorised personnel.
- Purpose limitation: We process your data only to run the app, maintain service quality, and provide support.
3. Tracking & Analytics
We use Mixpanel to understand how the app is used and to improve performance.
- What is tracked? Anonymous or pseudonymous IDs, event data (e.g. button taps, session length), device type/OS.
- What is not tracked? Your personal notes and answers are never sent to Mixpanel.
- Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) in maintaining and improving the service. You may object to analytics at any time (see §6).
4. Subscriptions & Payments
- In-App Purchase: Premium features are sold via Apple’s In-App Purchase (IAP) system.
- No payment data at InnerUs: Apple processes all transactions; InnerUs only receives confirmation that a purchase was successful.
- Manage subscription: You can cancel or modify your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

5. Managing Your Data

Delete Account & Data | Use the “Delete Account” option in the app settings or e-mail us. All personal data will be permanently erased from active databases (and from backups after standard rotation). |

6. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
To exercise these rights, contact us (see §11). We may request proof of identity to protect your account. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
7. Data Retention

8. Audience & Children
InnerUs is intended only for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Parents who believe their child has created an account may contact us for immediate deletion.
9. Third-Party Services
We share data only with service providers essential to app functionality:

10. Changes to This Policy
